[Edit]Both the name and talents of Rudolph Stanfield are known throughout the gospel music arena for his work with such artists as James Cleveland, James Moore, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, and R&B legend Aretha Franklin, as well as penning the hit "Stir up the Gift" for the Colorado Mass Choir. Stanfield and his talented vocal aggregation, New Revelation, offer up a nice mix of traditional, contemporary, and praise & worship sounds on their Malaco Records debut. Touches of funk dot the traditional gospel message on the tracks "Don't Stop the Praise," "Goodness and Mercy," and "A Living Testimony."
