[Edit]Oklahoma City is not the first city one thinks of when the topic is hardcore gangsta rap, but then, no one ever expected the most effortlessly psychedelic band of the last 20 years (the Flaming Lips) to come from central Oklahoma, either, so there you go. Rapper/producer S.B. the Grindaholik is center stage through most of this mixtape, although cameos from the other leading lights of the Oklahoma gangsta scene pop up on nearly every song. The best material here, like the pensive, ballad-style "Outside Lookin In" and the rough-and-tumble party anthem "Bopperz on the Floor," is as solid as anything else on the underground scene, but a few tracks here are strictly standard issue: although it does have a cool vocoder hook, "Grey Goose" is just more product-placement rap. There's nothing fancy here, and nothing truly outstanding, but overall, The Streets Iz Talkin, Vol. 2 gets the job done.
