[Edit]So-La-Li is the third solo release from bassist and ex-3 Mustapahas 3 member Sabah Habas Mustapha. The album's 11 tracks are based on traditional Sundanese texts collected and translated by ethnomusicologist Wim van Zanten in his book, Sundanese Music in the Cianjuran Style. They feature seductive Indonesian traditional and pop melodies with an intercultural worldbeat tinge. Returning for a repeat appearance from Mustapha's previous disc, Jalan Kopo, are the Jugala All Stars, creating unique ensemble moments with special guest Hijaz Mustapha on lap steel and vocalist Tati Ana Mogiono singing the album's melancholy poetry.
