Details
[Edit]Sacred Heart of Earth, the sixth CD by Sagrado, is an anthology celebrating the band's 20 years and its return to the studio and stage. Released with texts and lyrics in English — as an answer to the great band's approval overseas — the CD performs a musical synthesis, remixing and fusing tracks from old times with new arrangements and harmonic structures. With 24-bit remastering, Sacred Heart of Earth brings listeners something new in the form of instrumental tracks transformed into songs, with lyrics by Marcus Viana and adaptations of poems by Emily Dickinson, one of the greatest names of 19th century American literature. The CD also includes entirely new tracks, composed and produced in 2001 with a new lineup, including new singer Malu Aires. As old audio tracks were reworked, the original art work was also modified with new technology, making the project into a "design celebration" for Sagrado. The booklet includes photos of all members since the band's first lineup.
