Details
[Edit]Brava by Sally Harmon is all music we think we've heard before, but it was never played like this. Harmon plays the piano with an emotional intensity that creates in the listener the feelings of spontaneity and intensity typical of live performances. Emotions are raised on each selection that were stirred when the songs were first heard. Among them are pieces from such memorable movies as Beaches and The Summer of '42, and Broadway shows like Les Miserables and The Phantom of the Opera. Harmon also deftly adds a personal touch to Paul Simon's "El Condor Pasa" and "Scarborough Fair."
