[Edit]Sandy Posey's debut record starts off with her signature hit song, "Born A Woman" and the rest of the songs, which are mostly laments on lost love and loneliness, set the blueprint she would follow for her pop phase with MGM. The ultra-slick Nashville pop gloss of the arrangements helped secure a pop audience but Posey clearly demonstrated that she had the soul of a country singer.
