Details
[Edit]Selma Reis, a sensitive singer, dedicated this album to the works of Gonzaguinha. Opens with a delicate a cappella rendition for "Gonzaga," together with Gonzaguinha's son Daniel Gonzaga, whose voice timbre is very similar to his father's. Accompanied by excellent musicians, Reis delivers a repertory that is predominate with doleful songs, her preferred style. Exceptions are the samba "Geraldinos E Arquibaldos," which follows the original rendition with its mouth percussion; the dramatic "Fliperama"; the samba de breque "A Cidade Contra O Crime"; "Amanhã Ou Depois"; and, closing the album on a higher note, "O Homem Falou"/"O Que É, O Que É."
