[Edit]Corpus Christi, TX-based alternative CCM outfit Shake the Nation's full-length debut overflows with high-energy faith-based modern rock that owes as much (musically) to bands like Muse and Third Eye Blind as it does non-secular outfits like Casting Crowns and Switchfoot. Follow strikes a nice balance between riff-heavy rock anthems (“The Anthem,” “Satisfy”) and empowering midtempo balladry (“You,” “Face to Face”), resulting in a perfectly serviceable collection of radio-ready worship jams that should find favor with fans of Creed, the Fray, and Sixpence None the Richer.
