[Edit]Connor Bell, aka Shedding, is fairly straightforward in acknowledging his admiration for Eric Dolphy, and his soundscapes, consisting of field recordings, bird sounds, and some acoustic and electronic instruments, often recall Dolphy's experimental jazz. That influence is particularly noticeable here in the second track, the 14-minute "W," which features drumming and bass playing. The nearly 20-minute "YDK," on the other hand, is more of an ambient piece of manipulated outdoor sound.
