[Edit]This debut release from ex-Lush Emma Anderson's splinter outfit is a rather muted experience of quiet guitar pop played with the strut of '60s go-go dancers. Singer Lisa O'Neill (the Mad Professor, Locust) gently lifts these simple songs into coos and sighs with the presence of a more restrained Björk or an even more seductive Lauren Laverne. Believe it: "Feels Like Summer" is a James Bond theme if it were sucked dry of unapologetic misogyny, "Hit and Run" is a randy take on Darude's "Sandstorm," and through it all, O'Neill sings every verse like she wants to tear off your pants with her bare teeth. Depression? Sex? More, please.
