[Edit]Drinking from the same well as Black Sabbath and Sleep, Sloth presents the listener with oppressive doom rock and ominous sonic sludge. Never descending into self-indulgent noise-fests, this group maintains a recognizable rhythm and melody, even if that melody is attenuated to the point of being absorbed as another rhythm line.
