[Edit]Released and promoted by Berlin's Bpitch Control, Smash TV took the disciplined trip-hop tastes of the Mole Listening Pearls and gave it a tech-house spin. Electrified wasn't too layered but it was well-organized and inserted an edgy feel into its isolated production, with a consistently menacing drum'n'bass low-end and the brittle post-techno loops of Chris Clark, Brothomstates, and Bola rounding out its weaker moments. Most of the material wasn't terribly danceable or as clever as something from the Peacefrog roster, but it was good to hear that Smash TV never sounded too ashamed of it.
