On the soundtrack for the movie of the same name, the Long Beach and Pittsburgh representatives deliver an entertaining album loaded with breezy beats from a wide array of producers (Warren G, Jake One, Nottz, Exile, Drumma Boy) and solid features from the likes of Juicy J, Mike Posner, and Curren$y, plus Bruno Mars on the lead single, "Young, Wild & Free." The chemistry between the legend and the rookie is strong, and several of the songs (especially "I Get Lifted," "Let's Go Study," "Talent Show," and "You Can Put It in a Zag, I'mma Put It in a Blunt") are just plain outstanding.
