[Edit]According wingmakers.com, certain government agencies discovered 23 chambers of alien technology in New Mexico caverns. Apparently, these time traveling beings left behind not just the usual potter shards and cave paintings, but poetry, new physics, and music. After decoding the erudite material of "Wingmakers Chambers 11-17," Soulfood came up with an album of ambient beat music featuring haunting, operatic vocalese, didgeridoo, and pan-ethnic sounds. Rather than relying on samples, the Soulfood group records indigenous groups on location to build compositions. There is an absolutely intoxicating mix of tribal chants, meditative electronica, and organic collages of piano, guitar, and African percussion. The organizing principle to the Soulfood project is DJ Free Schaefer.
