[Edit]Though the post-rock band Special Others had been performing together since 1995 and releasing singles and mini-albums since 2004, 2008's album Quest was only their second full-length release. The album continued the band's adherence to a mix of jazz, rock, and pop as heard on their previous LP, Good Morning. Though the sophomore release garnered somewhat less attention than their previous endeavor, the album still charted in Japanese digital sales.
