[Edit]In their attempt to find a common ground between the Stanley Brothers and the Sex Pistols, Split Lip Rayfield comes up with a kind of bluegrass-punk sound more gimmicky than it is anything else; still, the album holds promise, and if the group can discover a way to integrate their diverse influences more organically, then they just might be onto something here.
