[Edit]This trio from Austin, Texas, explore deliberately harsh tones on their third album, 2014’s Clean Blood, Regular Acid. The speed occasionally reaches the ‘80s hardcore punk zone on “Everyone Bleach Their Hair” and “Live from Camp Mabry,” where guitar tones echo a rockabilly influence and the group vocals might remind old-school punks of Black Flag’s “TV Party.” Hints of The Fall, Krautrock, No Wave, and other extreme genres guide “Rest Versus Rust,” “Threesomes Can Wait,” and “Rednecks Everywhere.” “Cory’s Theme” dares to cross the eight-minute line with an instrumental jam the band calls "dub" but that may sound far more acrimonious to the average listener.
