[Edit]Stephanie Mills made the move to MCA in the mid-'80s and kept right on rolling. Her self-titled debut included the solid number "Stand Back" and had a fine blend of uptempo/dance songs, soaring ballads, and light urban contemporary tunes. It was the first album matching Mills with producer Nick Martinelli, and their collaboration would be a fruitful one.
