Details
[Edit]The Fuse Is Lit features six new songs along with seven additional tunes live from CBGB's in New York City. The entire album clocks in at approximately 20 minutes, so it's all pretty fast and furious. While Striking Distance is from Washington, D.C., much of this sounds like old-school N.Y.C. hardcore along with some Boston street punk stuff. The music is outgoing, swift, and pretty tight. Lyrically, the band treads the familiar hardcore routine of scene politics, friendships failed, and fighting the system. The live tracks aren't as clear as the new songs, but they help capture the band's energy much better.
