The band continues to execute great danceable salsa, providing the right balance of up-tempo guaguancós and boleros that have made the band (along with vocalists Paquito Guzmán and Sammy Gonzalez) one of the most popular of their generation. Humor and swing are abundant, as they head on the early-'70s salsa trends. "Debate" is a superior dance warhorse that benefits from the band's great rhythm section (conga player Osvaldo "Gallego" Maysonet, timbalero Endel Dueño, and bongo player Osvaldo "Gallego" Maysonet). "Cuero Na' Ma" is another tune that makes the former statement even more sound. The classic "Alma Con Alma" remains as beautiful as ever. Another winner by one of Puerto Rico's longest-lasting salsa bands. ~ José A. Estévez, Jr., Rovi
