[Edit]San Marga derives its name from the San Marga Iraivan Temple of Kauai in Hawaii. This recording brings out the warmth of her voice superbly. K. Sivaraman plays violin. Thiruvarur Vaidyanathan and S. Karthick accompany on mridangam and ghatam respectively. Like the other releases on Amutham this album furnishes detailed notes about the ragas and transliterates the Tamil lyrics (but does not provide any translation). This songs on this volume praise Hindu deities such as Siva, Ganesh and Murugha. If simpler arrangements are to the listener's taste, start with this volume. She repays investigation.
