[Edit]Scott Garred is very lonely. He misses his significant other so very much, even begging for forgiveness. "I need another chance to be with you," he sings desperately in the woeful "Garage Apartment." And you'll believe him, too. As vocalist/guitarist for Silver Scooter, Garred is sincerely brokenhearted. But as Super XX Man, he doesn't hold back any of his romantic demons, displaying all his heartfelt feelings on Volume V. Most of these acoustic gems stay close to Silver Scooter's wholesome indie pop, while Garred gets the chance to focus more on his eight-track and his special microphone. With lyrics such as "Every night when I lay down I pray that I find peaceful slumber," this volume is the perfect accompaniment for crying out your eyes.
