[Edit]These rural merengues and mangulinas come from one of the true greats of the genre, with a sharp country voice and an accordion style to match. I've recorded this kind of merengue in the field, and the only difference isn't stylistic, it's Henriquez's tightness, in-tuneness and general making-it-sound-the-way-it's-meant-to.
