In her third album, Suzana Salles faithfully continues discovering her own path, no matter how production trends and gimmicks go. It is refreshing to listen to a Brazilian production devoid of drum machines and other such instruments. Excellent musicians like Toninho Ferragutti (accordion) and Célio Barros (bass) contribute to build a solid instrumental foundation over which Salles can explore her precise and delicate singing. The repertory is another important aspect of this album, featuring "O Velho Francisco"'s outstanding melody (Chico Buarque) with the folklore-oriented "Foi Boto, Sinhá" (Waldemar Henrique/Antonio Tavernard). It can be said that Salles is still searching for her own voice, but in great style.
