[Edit]Producer Kramer (Shimmy Disc, Bongwater) worked hard with Tadpole to work sound into every nook and cranny of the four tracks here. The dual guitars and vocals are a diffuse nebula of space rock. These soaking sounds bring to mind easy comparisons to Spacemen 3 and Galaxie 500. Layer upon layer is dovetailed together for a final product that is dense, to a certain extent psychedelic. Instead of giving into mere aural saturation and rhythm there is enough of a weird melody to each track to make the EP as listenable as Syd Barret-era Pink Floyd.
