[Edit]Noted minimalist composer Steve Roach produced this exuberant album. There is nothing minimalist about this jubilant, Canadian-African exercise in dynamic music. Represented is a plethora of African tribal rhythms. This bright and celebratory palette paints a vigorous, colorful soundscape. A thick booklet gives instrumentation and notes on each track.
