[Edit]MTV icons Devo and the Buggles definitely left an impact on individual members of the Causey Way. Their EP Testimony is a full-on new wave blast of pure robotic pop. Each track is comprised with a thick layer of Moog keyboards, android-like vocals, and cello leads. On top of the lyrical content that deals with mind control and world domination, this could be easily compared to Serviton. But more playfully, the Causey Way sound as if they came from the Rentals' school of silly synth-pop.
