This is for the Fall fanatic who must own everything. That said, there are fine performances here, but the sheer volume of material—five shows from the 2001 tour, including all the duplication one might expect—means this is mostly for the indefatigable listener. Sound quality varies, too. The Seattle show is the most powerful and direct. The gig from Brighton, England, is fantastic for the fan who wants to understand what Mark E. Smith is singing (though even with a soundboard mix that favors the vocals, Smith still garbles enough words to make things interesting). The two Netherlands shows are the worst-sounding of the batch (possibly boombox recordings), with the first show having the better fidelity of the two. The New York show also sounds like a handheld recording, though the performance has a spirited energy that often overcomes the limited technology. The material is primarily culled from 2000's excellent The Unutterable and 2001's less-inspired Are You Are Missing Winner, with great versions of "Mr. Pharmacist," "F-'Oldin' Money," and "I Am Damo Suzuki" filling out the shows.
