[Edit]The Fire This Time mixes up reggae, Native American elements, spoken word and more to create a loping, hypnotic sonic collage that gets tweaked through an interesting series of changes. Mixed into the four versions here are Oku Onuora, Chuck D, the Eagleheart Singers, Augustus Pablo and more, all part of a warm, shifting production. The EP has some serious themes and points, but it's likely to be the sunshiney rhythm that gets to people first.
