[Edit]If Blood Moon sounds more like a label compilation than a proper album, that's because it is: The Game started Blood Money Entertainment in 2012, and the imprint's first signees, Skeme and Dubb, are featured here along with a who's-who of guests. The tracks are united by bleak, lumbering boom-bap and a whole lot of angry rappers. The Game is incensed by hip-hop's new generation on "Bigger than Me," and 2 Chainz, Yo Gotti, and even Soulja Boy are apoplectic on "Really." Things lighten up on the standout "Or Nah," which unites the popular ratchet production sound with its spiritual godfather, Too $hort.
