Details
[Edit]A good post-Oi!/street punk record. The usual mix of melodic and pop punk, with snotty, throaty vox and sing-along anthems. Such music is usually known for its subtlety, and with track titles like "Down in the City," "Murder," "Rats," "Tyranny," and "Summer of Unrest," the Generators aren't exactly oblique in their songwriting. But why should they be? Even a song like "Murder" is a happy, upbeat tune, so it all works out in the end, in one strange fashion or another. These guys put enough energy, vivacity, and thought into their melodies, and that alone deems the recording well worth your time.
