Details
[Edit]Fusing rambling, slightly off-key vocals, discordant and beautiful guitar lines, and driving, complex basslines, hal al Shedad does emocore like no one else can. The lyrical content is extremely well done — profound, innovative and expressive. This entire CD is amazing, but some of the most powerful moments come on "Postcard Communication," an epic struggle between anger and sadness, and the jangly, expressive "That One." Definitely one of the most talented, creative, and powerful bands to have emerged in the world of emotional music recently. Discordant, very complex, jaw-dropping lyrics, and worth every cent.
