[Edit]Don't bother comparing this band with the notorious English gangsters of the same name; those Krays were flamboyant thieves looking to escape their working-class background where they hobnobbed with high society in their nightclubs, whereas these Krays are four individuals from New York City, who probably don't much care about fame and fortune and, judging from A Time for Action, are quite content to stay in the streets they call home. Though obviously showing a healthy respect for their spiky-coifed ancestors, the Krays are not stuck in a total old-school punk time warp. The band's self-described "reality punk" employs decidedly modernized tempos that betray their origins loud and clear, as you can tell the guys in the group listened to their share of thrash from the city's potent hardcore scene as well.
