[Edit]The Alberta-based Northern Cree singers recorded their 13th album, Here to Stay, at the 11th Annual Snow Mountain Pow-Wow in Nevada, and it displays the group's passionate style in full effect. Their songs and chants (accompanied by percussion) often feature wild vocal ululations punctuated by the wailing of individual soloists, which makes for an exciting and unique listening experience for newcomers to Native American music.
