[Edit]The husband-and-wife worship team from Denver, CO signed with Brash Music following the release of All I Need Is Here in 2007. Brash shortly re-tooled the album, switching out two tracks and re-releasing it as Ancient Skies in September 2008. Adventurous only to those who are unfamiliar with the modern worship formula, Ancient Skies sticks to prototypical messages and delivery. Where it strays from tried-and-true worship are the ventures into political ranting ("White Man") and progressive rock ("Fly"). All in all, the disc holds its weight but occasionally has difficulty holding the listener's attention. Too often you get that feeling that you've heard these songs before. To be fair, though, this could also be considered a strength since keeping things simple makes it easier to grab the ears of young listeners.
