This Atlanta sound is the latest in a long string of Southern areas to take their crunk sound nationwide. Miracle's distinct, high-pitched voice often overpowers some of the lyrics on his self-titled debut. Production wise, many of the tracks have a typical Southern-fried sound, filled with pumped-up, fast paced beats you'd expect from an artist from Atlanta. Some tracks do stand out, particularly the fierce "Huntin' Season" and the intricately designed rhythms of "If the Sun Don't Shine." Like many of his Southern counterparts, Miracle's tracks often trail into monotony, with every track paced at the same high tempo. If he finds a way to mix it up, his music will definitely find an audience outside of the Dirty South.
