[Edit]Some of the less inclined may listen to the Network's 2007 offering, This Is Your Pig's Portrait, and think it's merely just a big ol' bundle of noise. But upon closer inspection, its instrumentalists are quite accomplished pluckers and bashers — this stuff is much more complex than your average prog metallists of the world. And also, you've got to love a group that includes not one, not two, not three — but four vocalists. Chaos reins supreme throughout This Is Your Pig's Portrait, especially on the album-opening blitzkrieg, "We Are the Network," as well as "Love on the Lips of a Whore" (how's that for a tender song title?) and the title track. Berserk freak-outs abound.
