Details
[Edit]Behind the Nova Dream Sequence moniker lurks none other than King Britt, the DJ who has worked with everyone from Digable Planets and G. Love & Special Sauce to remixes for Miles Davis and Curtis Mayfield. But for his inaugural Nova Dream Sequence release, 2006's Interpretations, Britt sticks close to the contemporary electronica handbook, as trebled-out beats and blips merge with creeping keyboards. Inspired by the likes of Kraftwerk, Britt set out to do his first-ever instrumental techno album, which was based on supposed interpretations of his dreams. With all the song titles going by "Dream" and then a number ("Dream 1," "Dream" 2," etc.), you can take a random pick and sample much of the same ethereal techno dance sound.
