[Edit]For The Sheepdogs’ third studio album, the heralded Saskatoon-based swamp/garage rock quartet recruited bespectacled Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney to co-produce. Mixed by Tchad Blake (Peter Gabriel, Paul Simon, Elvis Costello), it’s an inspired coming-together of similarly spirited collaborators. The deluxe version of this self-titled release includes acoustic versions of two of the new numbers and a music video for the hypnotically charismatic “The Way It Is.”
