Details
[Edit]Midnight for Two begins the Three Suns' affair with lighthearted camp — the sound that makes their later stereo LPs so...zany. The jacket features a formally dressed couple cheerily riding a broomstick into the night sky. The addition of the pipe organ is continued in The Things I Love in Hi-Fi, and Swingin' On a Star is a full realization of the space-at-night theme.
About two-thirds of the tracks are quirky, uptempo, and worthwhile if you like this sort of thing. "When Yuba Plays the Rumba On the Tuba" features a "Tequila"-esque mambo riff.
