Singing entirely in English, this Spanish group offers rock that sounds influenced by both 1960s rock and 1960s revivalists on Take Me Take Me. And as is the case when the originals go through more generations, the freshness fades more with each iteration. It's a well-done but somewhat anonymous mastery of the elements, with the reference points easy to pick out: Byrdsy guitars, Beatlesque harmonies, swirling psychedelic sitar, an inversion of Pink Floyd's "Lucifer Sam" riff on "I Know Your Bird," Move-ish-ish acoustic rock on "Together." And what a surprise to hear garage psychedelia with a cheesy organ on a song titled "Garage Flying Saucers Stoning," though that track does insert some Who-like traits, too. It's pleasant enough and keeps the ball moving enough so that it doesn't remain specifically derivative of one artist or approach in particular for minutes on end, but lacks staying power.
