Details
[Edit]Warped Tour darlings There for Tomorrow lean toward the poppier end of the punk/emo spectrum, largely eschewing screaming and metal-style instrumental pyrotechnics in favor of classic songcraft and vocals that often wouldn't sound out of place on a Backstreet Boys album. A Little Faster refines the sound the band developed on its first two efforts, tightening up the hooks and upping the angst quotient. "The Remedy" uses a dissonant guitar figure and pounding, syncopated drum parts to underscore its lyrical vitriol, while the title track is straight-ahead, radio-ready pop-punk full of chugging rhythms and vocal harmonies. Throughout, A Little Faster showcases There for Tomorrow's sharp writing, youthful enthusiasm, and highly accessible, pop-infused take on emo.
