Details
[Edit]In 2000, Tin Arnaldo released her self-titled debut album comprised of easy listening love songs and slow, middle of the road tunes, some of which have a theatrical air. The album lacks diversity and surely needs some upbeat songs. Arnaldo is quite young, a teenager, and her voice still needs developing. She doesn't possess the vocal prowess of such international female teenage singers as Jessica Simpson or Christina Aguilera, who are known for their vocal maturity and depth. Nevertheless, Arnaldo has potential, and she may one day become a fine singer.
All 12 of the album's songs are slow. Without diversity, the songs lack distinction, and some tend to sound alike. The choruses on "All the Love We Had" and "All I Can Do" have the potential to be truly memorable, but Arnaldo's voice isn't strong enough to meet the challenge, and the songs fall short. "Follow Your Dream," "Minamahal Kita" (Loving You), and "All I Can Do" have a theatrical air. Throughout the album, Tin Arnaldo is able to sing on key, but her voice lacks depth and she needs maturing. Yet, there is potential, as evidenced by the blossoming of her voice on parts of "Minamahal Kita" and "Sa 'Yo Lamang" (For You Alone).
