[Edit]This album, subtitled "Alla en el Rancho Grande," is a wonderful showcase for Tito Guizar's beautiful lyric tenor, which proves as fine an instrument doing folksongs and folk-style songs from south of the border as it was suited to operetta on the stage. With guitar accompaniment and a few exuberant backup singers joining him, Guizar plays eight gorgeous songs that are as manly and macho as they are pretty. This album should have been expanded and re-released long ago on both sides of the border.
