[Edit]Perfect Future marked a bit of a return for the long-lived Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra. After spending a few albums sticking somewhat closer to their traditional ska formats with a greater pop influence, Perfect Future gave the group a chance to move back into a more experimental format, trying out different elements of ska as well as musical influences outside of ska. There's a bit of calypso in "A Song for Athletes," traditional ska in "Warrior Chant," ska-punk (courtesy of Kemuri's Fumio Ito) in "Pride of Lions," and bits of pop, Latin, and jazz sprinkled in between.
