A British-based reggae band that didn't hang around as long as expected, especially after getting off to such a good start. Their sophomore album features the passionate love songs "Every Little Beat of My Heart," "You Walked on By," and "You Ran Off" and the sociopolitical numbers "Rastafaria" and "We-Wah-To Go to Zion." The eight-piece band ably produced by D. Tyrone handles both styles well. Eleven songs, and a treasure to find since the last time it was in print gasoline sold for around 50 cents a gallon. Highlights are two songs about oppression: "(Africa) Our Forefather's Land" and "Jamaica Land Is Zion." The main members were Les McNeil (rhythm guitar and songwriter), Paul Dawkins (lead vocals), and Paul Thompson (keyboards). RCA Records picked it up for worldwide distribution in 1980.
