Trae is arguably the mayor of Houston, and his King of the Streets series continues to deliver strong joints that focus on his superiority both on the microphone and in the hood. The beats are standard Dirty South fare, plenty of skittering snares and brash keyboards, but it's really his raspy, sinister, signature flow that is the star of the show here. Guest spots come courtesy of Young Jeezy, Rich Boy, Yo Gotti, Wiz Khalifa, and Yelawolf, though Trae still sounds the best. If you're looking for straight-up H-Town street rap, it doesn't get much better. Check out "Welcome to the Hood (Remix)," "S**t I Seen," "Getting’ Paid," and "The Lick."
