[Edit]Already an established street legend in his native Houston, Trae tha Truth has been one of the region's most prolific and hardworking emcees for a long time now. On Welcome 2 the Streets, he shares the spotlight with his ABN Renegadez crew, which includes Lil Boss, Yung Quis, Rod C, and Jayton. Sinister walls of synths and bombastic drums dominate the production, while Trae and company sound off about doing dirt on the block, running the rap game, stacking dollars through nefarious means, and big-upping H-Town. Unsurprisingly, Trae's signature soft-yet-hard flow steals the show. But his affiliates hold their own, complementing his shadowy gangster tales quite well.
