Forceful and honest in both recorded and live performances, this band has been one of the most important and most definitely overlooked bands on the "indie scene." They Combine beautiful melodic riffs with angry metallic passages, and fuse them perfectly with heartfelt and well-conceived lyrics presented mostly through body-shaking screams and forceful shouts. Comparisons to Drive Like Jehu and the Sleepytime Trio come to mind, but this band is certainly nothing directly derivative. This entire album is a highlight; everything falls into place perfectly.
