[Edit]Based in Knoxville, Tennessee, the United Pursuit Band is an indie folk worship collective made up of multiple singers, songwriters, and instrumentalists. On previous releases, they've acted more as a backing ensemble for specific songwriters within the group, but 2015's Simple Gospel is a truly collaborative affair with a unified feeling and contributions from numerous group members. Not unlike California's Bethel Music ensemble, United Pursuit Band offer a passionate, folk-inspired take on modern worship music.
